The County Hospital in Rawicz faces the need to adjust its infrastructure to the requirements defined in the Decision of the Minister of Health concerning the specialist and sanitary requirements that healthcare facility premises and installations should meet (Dz. U. No. 31, item 158 of 11th February 2011).

At the same time, it is the intention of the hospital that the conditions in which medical services will be provided are significantly better than current. Moreover, the hospital wants to introduce changes concerning the scope and number of services offered to meet the health-related needs of the Rawicz County and the neighbouring counties.

For that reason, the hospital is looking for innovative solutions that will allow to implement a modified medical programme for the hospital, which could be provided in modernised infrastructure.

The goal that the hospital wants to achieve is satisfaction of health-related needs of the region described above in buildings at highest attainable energy-saving level. The costs of such a solution must be lowest in the entire life cycle of the modernised buildings.

The hospital invited the cooperation of institutions eager to help in the implementation of the objective defined above – consulting firms, designers and architects, construction companies, and all the other interested parties.

By mid-October 2011, the hospital will provide detailed information concerning the project.

By mid-December 2011, the hospital will have organised a meeting during which it will present its expectations from the contractors. The meeting will mark the beginning of the technical dialogue. The effect of the talks conducted will be a contract/contracts for designing the medical programme for the hospital and a construction design covering the modernisation of the infrastructure that the hospital owns.
